What is ABA?

Based on scientific studies how environments affect behavior and how learning takes place, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy is the only proven treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ABA Therapy is an ongoing and flexible treatment that is unique to each individual and evolves as the individual acquires skills to utilize in everyday life situations.

Linda J. Talbert

Founder, CEO

Linda is the Founder and CEO of ABA Achievements, serving Fairfield County, Connecticut. Linda is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), holding a Masters Degree in Teaching from Northwestern University. Prior to establishing ABA Achievements, Linda founded and operated a private practice in special education advocacy where she gave a voice to those who could not voice for themselves the learning and behavioral hurdles they and their families were experiencing.

With over a 12 years of professional experience working and growing with children and youth on the autism spectrum, Linda’s first encounter with ABA Therapy came over 20 years ago when her now young adult son was diagnosed with ASD. It is Linda’s goal that ABA Achievements be a source of positivity and fulfillment of hopes and dreams, as she and her team bring their commitment and experience to your child and family.
